About
The Erasmus Initiative at the University of Bremen is a non-profit student association formed by former Erasmus participants and internationally minded students. Each semester, we organize around 30 volunteer-led events for over 300 international students from all over the world.
Our activities include day and weekend trips, cultural experiences, social gatherings, and sports events. We also coach our own Erasmus football team at the University of Bremen. Our team is made up of open-minded and enthusiastic members who are passionate about helping international students feel welcome in Bremen and explore life in Germany.
In addition to supporting incoming students, we also offer guidance to local students who are interested in studying or doing internships abroad through the Erasmus+ program. We aim to inspire more students to take part in international exchange and broaden their horizons.
At the heart of everything we do at Erasmus Bremen is the goal of encouraging cultural exchange, building friendships, and creating unforgettable experiences.

Team Erasmus FC
Team Erasmus FC brings together international students from Universität Bremen and Hochschule Bremen who share a passion for football. Our club combines football enthusiasts from all over the world with a vibrant European spirit.
Sport is a universal language that connects people beyond borders, and Team Erasmus FC celebrates this by fostering diversity, inclusion, and teamwork both on and off the field. We believe that through football, students from different cultures can build friendships, improve their skills, and feel part of a supportive community.
The team is proudly managed by the Erasmus Initiative der Universität Bremen, a community of former Erasmus students dedicated to supporting and welcoming incoming students at Universität Bremen.
